Terms and Conditions for web shop.

General Information
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases, BreadByKaerup’s web shop. If you have any questions, please contact us at kontakt@breadbykaerup.dk.

All purchases are made with BreadByKaerup, Kastetvej 15a st.4, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark, CVR: 41735414.

All agreements are concluded by Danish Law.

1. Product Information
Each product is described on our web shop. Our coffee is sold as whole beans and packed in protective ventilated packaging for freshness.
Prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT, unless otherwise specified.

2. Payment

Payment in the web shop is possible via Flatpay, Payment is charged once the order is confirmed.

We reserve the right to correct errors, adjust prices due to changes in VAT or taxes, and cancel orders due to typographical errors or force majeure.

3. Shipping & Delivery

We ship via GLS. We ship within 1-3 working days.

Estimated delivery times vary by region and selected shipping method. We strive to deliver within the time frame indicated but cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.

If a product is delayed, you will be informed as soon as possible, and you have the right to cancel the purchase if delivery is delayed more than 30 days, cf. Danish Sale of goods Act (Købeloven) § 74 and Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven) § 27.

4. Transfer of Risk

In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven), the risk for purchased goods passes to you only when you (the consumer) or a person authorized by you have taken physical possession of the goods.

Until that time, BreadByKaerup bears the risk of any damage or loss during shipment.

5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your goods.

However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to food products such as coffee, as these are perishable goods, Cf § 18, stk. 2, nr. 1, cf. § 7, stk. 2, nr. 1.

Other unopened and unused non-food products in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us at kontakt@breadbykaerup.dk within 14 days of receiving your goods.

You then have 14 days to return the item, Cf § 19.

Return shipping is at your expense, and you are responsible for ensuring the product is properly packed.

Refunds are issued once the product has been received and verified to meet the return conditions.

Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the purchase.

6. Missed Pickup & Return Handling

If an order is returned to us because it was not collected or due to incorrect delivery information, the order is not automatically refundable. Failure to collect a parcel is not considered a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.

Returned packages are stored for 14 days and may be reshipped upon payment of additional shipping costs.

7. Newsletter & Marketing Consent

We only send marketing emails with your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in each email.

8. Privacy and Data Protection (GDPR)

We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

We collect your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and order details to fulfill purchases and subscriptions.

We only share data with trusted partners necessary to process your order (e.g., shipping, payment, and platform providers).

Personal data is stored securely and retained only as long as legally required.

You have the right to:

– access your data,

– correct inaccuracies,

– request deletion (“the right to be forgotten”),

– restrict processing, and

– request data portability.

We may use the third-party providers who process data on our behalf such as:
WooCommerce (e-commerce), WordPress (webshop platform), Flatpay (payment), GLS (shipping), and DanDomain (email communication).

9. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Danish law.
Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Denmark.
Consumers residing in another EU country may also bring proceedings in their own country of residence, in accordance with EU Regulation 1215/2012.

10. Complaints

If you wish to file a complaint, please contact us at kontakt@breadbykaerup.dk
We will process your complaint within 30 days and aim for a fair resolution.

If you cannot reach an agreement with us, you may file a complaint with:
The Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg) via www.forbrug.dk or through the EU ODR platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

11. Version and Updates

Last updated: April 13.2026.

We reserve our right to update these terms without prior notice.

Significant changes will be announced via our website or by email.

All reservations are made with BreadByKaerup, Kastetvej 15a st.4, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark, CVR: 41735414.

All agreements are concluded by Danish Law.
All orders are reservation requests and must be confirmed by a member of our staff.
You’ll receive an email when our staff has confirmed your order.

Next-day reservations must be placed no later than 19:00 the evening before.

It’s not possible to make same-day reservations.

3. Shipping, Delivery & Reservations

Only able to pick up in store. No shipping or delivery available.

4. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your goods.

However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to food products, Cf § 18, stk. 2, nr. 1, cf. § 7, stk. 2, nr. 1.

5. Missed Pickup & Return Handling

If an order is not picked up on time within 30 minutes from reservation time, we will keep the right to put the products back on the shelf and sell it in store.
